How do I find speech ratings, speech reviews, presentation ratings, and presentation reviews?

To find speech ratings, speech reviews, presentation ratings, and presentation reviews, click the Find Speech button to go to the Find Speech page, type the name of the speaker/presenter (e.g., Kennedy) and/or speech/presentation title or topic (e.g., commencement) in the input fields, then click the Search button.  You may enter the speaker's name only if that is all you know, to get all the speeches by that speaker, then you can select the specific speech.  You may also enter the title of the speech without the speaker's name if that is all you know, to get all speeches with that title by any speaker, then you can select the specific speech.

Alternatively, for more search options for finding a speech rating, speech review, presentation rating, or presentation review, click the Find Speech button to go to the Find Speech page, click Advanced Search for additional search options.  From that page, you can search by speaker's name, speaker description (e.g., president), speech title or topic, subject category (e.g., politics), speech description, year of speech, and/or rater (the user who performed the rating).

Finding speech rating

You can click on the speech rating to see the details of the rating.  After clicking on the speech rating, there will be a display showing all the ratings of the speech, including the average overall rating, the average content rating, the average delivery rating, the average visuals rating, as well as every rating of the speech as well as any comments or reviews by the raters about the speech (speech reviews).  Additionally, from that page, you will have the opportunity to rate the speech by clicking on the Rate Speech button.  Speakers are sometimes called presenters when speeches involve slides; likewise, talks or speeches with slides are called presentations.

If there are no speeches in the database that match your search criteria, you will have the opportunity to add the speech.  You will be prompted to log in first, unless you are logged in already.  If you don't have an account, you can create one.  While adding the new speech, you will also be asked to add the speaker if the speaker is not in the database, and you can also optionally rate the speech during this process.
