How do I add a speech or presentation?

To add a speech or presentation, from the home page or from most other pages, click the Find Speech or the Rate Speech button.  From the Find Speech or Rate Speech page, type the name of the speaker/presenter (e.g., Kennedy) and/or speech/presentation title or topic (e.g., commencement) in the input fields and click the Search button.  After you click Search, a table will be displayed showing any matching speaker(s) as well as any matching speech or speeches by the speaker(s).

If there are no speeches in the database that match your search criteria, you can add the speech.  You will be prompted to log in first, unless you are logged in already.  If you don't have an account, you can create one.  While adding the new speech, you will be asked to add the speaker if the speaker is not in the database, and you can also optionally rate the speech during this process as well as write comments or a review about the speech.
